Dr. Paula Moncion is a registered clinical psychologist who joined the private practice of Goldstein, Moncion, Greenbaum & Associates with her two partners and five colleagues in 1996.
Dr. Moncion had completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University, Kingston and had experience working in hospital settings, school boards and Children’s Aid Agencies. She has extensive experience from a research and clinical perspective working with families with respect to parenting issues and in parental stress. She was former Director of Adult Clinical services in a private practice setting prior to forming Goldstein, Moncion. Greenbaum & Associates
Presently, Dr. Moncion offers assessment and treatment services. She continues to treat clients with depression, anxiety, addictions, self-esteem issues, relationship problems and parenting concerns. She works with adults, adolescents and children both in groups and on an individual basis. Dr. Moncion has provided vocational assessments/career counselling to individuals and organizations such as; WSIB, Canada Employment Centers and Vocational Rehabilitation Services. She provides learning assessments to Children and adults with a focus on bilingual capacity. She has been certified as a capacity assessor.
Dr. Moncion consults to CHEO and various CAS throughout Ontario as an expert in attachment and parental capacity and has testified in court as an expert witness for such. Dr. Moncion provides objective psychological/emotional assessments for insurance companies and various agencies. She continues to present to various groups and agencies with respect to a range of parenting and relationship issues.
